On Tuesday 12th March, Carleton High School hosted a dynamic careers fair, drawing in over thirty diverse providers ranging from universities, colleges, and apprenticeship providers to local employers.
Both Carleton High School and The Kings School students showcased exceptional preparation and enthusiasm as they actively engaged with the providers in attendance.
The event concluded with resoundingly positive feedback from the providers, who shared it was one of the most successful career fairs they’ve participated in. They particularly praised the students for their insightful questions and respectful behaviour throughout the event.
As a Trust, we strongly believe in equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of their career options. By arranging conversations with professionals from various industries and career paths, we aimed to ignite their passions and encourage exploration of the multitude of opportunities available to them. Additionally, the fair facilitated meaningful connections between students and industry professionals, enhancing their understanding of potential future pathways.
We extend our gratitude to all the visitors, including Bradford University, Wakefield College, New College, Hays Travel, NHS, Digital Plus, Robertson Facilities Management, Morgan Sindall, Castleford Tigers Foundation, Fire Service, West Yorkshire Ambulance, and many others, for their valuable contributions to this successful event.
